About the Organization
FORMULA is a social promotion association THIRD SECTOR ENTITY specialized in orientation counseling and mentoring activities for young adults, in non-formal education activities, in collaborative planning activities aimed at stimulating active citizenship of young people. The target audience is 14-32 years.
It has been operating since 2022 in the province of Pescara and is made up of a team with different and transversal skills, united by a passion for development and personal growth.
We promote ACTIVE Orientation and the development of SOFT SKILLS. The inspiration comes from the Resolution of the Council of Europe of 21/11/2008 which introduces the concept of "permanent orientation", recognized as the right of every person, to receive services through which to develop the skills necessary to consciously make their own training, work and post-work choices.
The association is a Career Orientation, Evaluation and Guidance Center affiliated with ASNOR, an entity registered in the list of the Ministry of Economic Development of Professional Associations that issue the quality certificate of the services provided by members (art. 2, paragraph 7 of Law 4/2013) and accredited by the MIUR (current Ministry of Education and Merit - MIM) Directive 170/2016.
The guidelines that drive the actions of FORMULA members are:
- proximity, as each project will be characterized by operating above all in the places where young generations live, using a community approach.
- the inductive methodology as a working method that starts from the bottom, ensuring the direct involvement of users (bottom up).
- the non-"adultist" approach, that is, the protagonist of each project will be the young person himself, appropriately supported by the expert educator, to decide his own objectives.
- promotion of well-BEING not characterized by a quantitative vision (economic well-being), but with a qualitative and multifactorial connotation, (existential and social well-being) to which 5 fundamental components contribute: emotional, physical, social, intellectual and value-based.
